National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR was established in March 2007 under an Act of Parliament (December 2005) under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005. The commission’s mandate is to ensure that all laws, policies, programs and administrative systems conform to the vision of the rights of the child as enunciated in the Constitution of India as well as the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

National Centre of Excellence and Advanced Research on Anemia Control (NCEAR-A) was established in May 2018 at the Centre of Community Medicine (CCM), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. NCEAR-A provides technical support to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for strengthening AnemiaMukt Bharat strategy through research, capacity building at the national and state level, monitoring and evaluation, supporting State Centre of Excellences for control of anemia in India. NCEAR-A is also engaged with academic institutions and development partners to support MoHFW for the implementation of AMB with quality.

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program at the Milken Institute School of Public Health (SPH) at the George Washington University is committed to improving the health and well-being of women, children, adolescents and families through teaching, research, practice, policy and service. The MCH Master of Public Health (MPH) program is grounded in a life course perspective as an organizing framework that acknowledges distinct periods in human development and presents both risks and opportunities for interventions. Further, the academic program explores MCH from an interdisciplinary perspective that integrates the biological, demographic, epidemiological, developmental, environmental, behavioral and social characteristics that are unique to the health and well-being of women, children, adolescents and families in the United States and around the world.
